Meet Our Management Team
we Believe in the process of a Concierge service
Buying a Turn-key System with Long Term Support VS. Buying Products with Individual Warranties
Shopping at the Big box stores looks like this.
The "Big Box" stores hold YOU responsible.
Working with Pete and Smarter Homes Looks like this.
It should not be "YOU" who is responsible.
Picturing the process is crucial to understanding why it's important for you to choose the right company to work with.
*There are many factors and options to consider.
Why Choose the Smarter Homes Team?
We show Love to our clients and their families Investment with Un-Matched 24/7, 24 hour Customer Service and an Annual Scheduled Maintenance visit every year after the project is completed to ensure your system and investment stays operating at the highest quality.
We challenge you to call our phone anytime. (Day or Night)
We believe in a world where clients have access to technology experts anytime. Our clients say 9 out of 10 times we answer the phone and their questions on their first attempt reaching out. When we don't answer, its usually because we were helping another client at the time of the call.
High end customer service and scheduled maintenance is why our customers love us.
Shoot us a text message. We don't mind.

After the job is done...
We’re really grateful that you’ve chosen us to be your technology experts. You can help us out as well as any prospective new clients by rating us and leaving a review! Thanks for your time and thanks for being such a loyal client year after year!
Austin is the Best City on Earth!
Technology enthusiasts of all types gravitate towards Austin Texas. It's hard to explain why, but we all agree that this city is pulling more and more people to it every year and the end result is increased new home building and existing home remodeling.
What Kind Of Jobs Do We Normally Take On?
-New Construction projects from the ground phase.
-Large Remodels where most equipment is outdated but home is pre-wired or ready to be wired.
-Homes or businesses that have systems that are Ready to be Updated to have better speeds, features and reliability.
What is the difference between "New Construction" and
"Retro-fit" Installation & Pricing?
"New Build" is Pre-Wired
with No Walls Installed.
In "new build" homes that are in the pre-construction phase or scheduled appropriately by your builder, the cost per wire drop is $35 to $50 (includes plates and termination.)
In homes that construction has already been completed, installation involves drywall work and dealing with insulation. This adds time to the project. In a "retro pre-wire" the cost per wire drop is $175.00 (includes plates and termination.)
We Guarantee Our Work
It is very important to us to provide the best level service with the most reliable products and programming. In order for us to do that, we must provide and install all core components of your new system to ensure stability within our programming and configurations. Most of the time this means a major overhaul which is not expected.
We are sorry that we can not work on every system but we have found our designs and equipment to be much superior to the competition for long term success and functionality for years to come.
